We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Community Life Services Coordinator for our facilities.

POSITION
Summary:
The Community Life Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Community Life Services with the overall planning and implementation of varied activity and educational programs designed to meet the requirements of the Community's lifestyle and dimensions of wellness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND
Essential Functions:
Assists with planning and coordinating activities and events, discussion groups & clubs, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, special entertainment, off-property trips, special events, in-house movies, instructional courses such as arts & crafts, seminars, workshops, presentations; health & fitness activities, customized activities for Alzheimer/Dementia and Parkinson affected residents, holiday parties; etc.
Assists with preparing and distributing the monthly calendar, weekly reminder, event flyers and newsletter.
Assists with purchasing supplies for activities as needed.
Manages, stocks, and keeps records for the Village Market.
Directs the movement of residents to and from on-property & off-property events.
Maintains accurate documentation of resident's activity attendance.
Researches, plans and executes upcoming events and trips.
Flexibility of hours-will involve nights and weekends.
Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified.
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
o A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
o One year's experience in a social or recreational program preferred.
o Experience in geriatrics, recreation or social administration preferred.
o Class E license preferred but not required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
